Only the Good News!
the title doesn't mean i only have good news. it means I'm only gonna
tell you the good parts. haha.
found out that Aide spells her name Aydee. AND SHES GETTING BAPTIZED. its
for real this time tho. she had her interview and everything. we are putting
together the program this week and she´ll be baptized on Saturday. shes asked
that i baptize her and Larroza (my old comp that was with me when we found her)
confirms her. she cried during her interview saying that she didn't want me and
larroza to get transferred next week. it made me sad but me and Larroza are
pretty certain its gonna happen.
it'll be hard to say goodbye this time i know it.
this week a couple other cool things happened.we had to go to the airport
to pick up an elder from our ward who was coming home. his dad is inactive and
didn't go so we had to accompany his mom and sisters. it was cool. kinda of
trunky though to watch somebody get home and hug their mom for the first time in
2 years... but anyways, like i said GOOD NEWS.
we had our multizone conference with the pres this week. it was the last
time we´ll see him. new pres comes in a couple weeks after this transfer. the
conference was cool though. i gotta see a lot of old faces from the beginning of
my mission that are now in other zones in the coast. i saw Elder Condori (the
elder who was with me when we got shot at) and elder Padgett came up with the
pres cause he is the assistant now. so that was fun. we had 2 hours of Q and A
time with the pres and his wife. they should post the pics from it soon! but i
got some here too.
well, i love you guys! keep praying for Aydee!! this Saturday!!!! :D
whoohoo!
remember the church is true.
and remember that no matter what, in ALL the good times and bad, to be
grateful. to be as the pioneers who sang danced and shouted praises to God
during the most difficult thing they had ever gone through in their life's.
