Again with the puppy love!!

hmmmm. the week went by so fast i am not even sure what to say. I'm also a little pressed for time cause we are goin back to the beach today.

but it all went well. had an AMAZING lesson with Mileida and her family. strong spirit. there were tears. she told us she knows its all true. SOOOOOO happy :)

me and Dawson really are doing great. and we love what we do and those we teach. had a good amount of people come to church yesterday. 6 investigators. each one has a specific need and we are working hard to get all of them through their problems and ready for baptism.

its hotter than normal here... which is crazy. i didn't think it could get any hotter but its all good cause the a/c unit hasn't failed on us yet.

i feel like this is the smallest email i have written but I'm really not sure what else to say.

gotta see Wadley last Monday! but then on Wednesday he got emergency transferred to Medellin to be a secretary... so yeah that's over.

welllll i love the gospel. and i love you guys! ill get lots of pics of today for next week!! :)

Hey There Friends.

Everything is going Amazing here. having tons of success lately. found some new people that are really interested and most of them went to church! we had 8 investigators come. a couple of them we never met before. it was great!

Juliana is still preparing for baptism. we are super excited for her and are praying for her tons.

there was a mission conference for all the missionaries in the world on Wednesday. it was really good. the talked about teaching repentance. it helped me realize that some time we need to be really direct with the people we teach. repentance come before baptisms and must be understood.

transfers came. and me and Dawson are staying together here in Lorica. i get to finish his training. and there's some really exciting news! Elder Wadley (my first hijo) is coming to my zone! and he is finishing the training of a gringo from Dawsons group!!! so i have ANOTHER grandson! I'm SUUUUPER happy for Wadley and his progress. i really hope Dawson is able to train too when i leave here. i know Wadley is gonna do great.

well, i love you guys and am praying for you always. remember the council from our Prophet last October. Keep The Commandments. the same advice that King Benjamin gave to the Nephites. Love and Serve one another. Be a help and not a burden. Show people at all times the you are a Latter Day Saint. and teach them what it means to be one.

interesting week. got a little sick but got over it quickly. me and Dawson are kinda gettin sick of the lunches haha. i try not to complain too much because its sooo so nice of the members to give us lunch and everything but stomach probs just aren't fun.

elder escribano had to go to a leadership meeting I'm ]Medellin so i was left with his hijo elder Bravo and was training two for a few days. kinda weird and hard cause we were working in 2 areas as well. but i think things went well. got lots of lessons in and elder Dawson was participated a LOT. i was so happy for him. we started teaching the niece of a recent convert and she is SUPER excited to be baptized. her names Alesa. and the girl who went last week, Juliana, went to church again yesterday. she is doing really well. progressing a lot.

yesterday we also got told last minute that we had to teach the class and had nothing prepared. but the 4 of us decided to talk about the book of mormon and the spirit took over the lesson. it was sooooo good. it made me wanna read more. make sure you guys are reading it every day. Nephi taught us that if we want to know what the Lord would have us do, then we just gotta read. i testify that its true. i love it. and we must all live it.

well, we had an interesting week. had a couple day where basically EVERY cita fell through which was not so good. but then the week ended with somewhat of a miracle. haha

we tried to do a little less contacting and more working with members. we got the branch Pres to help us out but hes the only one really animated enough to do it. we are gonna plan a branch activity in hopes that the members get excited about the work, the only problem is we need Felipe (the mission leader) to help us and hes not all the excited either. but we are working on it!

i have learned a bunch this week about personal council. and it is such a beautiful thing to be able to change and be better. i love that ability we have to grow and learn. don't ever let the past obligate your future. mistakes are lessons. love them and love Christ. rely on Him to heal you. to make you better. love others and teach them to do the same.

yesterday we had NOBODY at church that we have been teaching. it was sooooo sad. but then something awesome happened! a random girl walked in that we didn't know. so we contacted her, went to her house last night and accepted the baptism invite! SOOOOO awesome. i love having experiences like that with Dawson, i know it'll help him stay animated about the work through his whole mission!
