The beach in San Antero

1/4/16

yup. so last week after visiting the Playa we decided to ask permission to work there because the missionaries hadn't been out there in over a year... turns out we aren't as close to the beach as we were told... its a good 10 kms out.. so we take a little van to get out to a pueblo called San Antero that's LITERALLY on the beach.

went contacting there most of the week and found TONS of new people. it was AMAZING! and the beach is SUPER nice.. ill send a bunch of pics.. i took like a million haha

so yeah we have been half working in San Antero and half in Lorica.

something REALLY funny happened this week but its too hard to explain over email so it'll have to wait.. i wont forget it tho don't worry haha

Elder Dawson is doing great as well. hes happy as ever and loving the work.. the new area doesn't seem as cool to him... i guess its cause it was the first time I'd been to the ocean in FOREVER.

really happy here you guys. i might be excited about only having 6 months left. but at the same time i don't want it to go by too fast. i know how much ill miss it. i love the Lord. and i love his work

Weeelllll. the p day after talking with you guys and i don't have very much to say.. what a surprise! 

the week was great! went by CRAZY fast.. i thought the anticipation for Friday would make it slower.. but nope :)

The 24th was cool cause we had a mini zone activity, went out for lunch and watched the Grinch.

things got crazy that night though. we went to the centro of Lorica and took pics, but went home early cause of all the crazy street parties.

These last couple days have been good as well.. had a few good lessons. put some baptism dates :) so we got some work to do in January.

Really excited for the new year. take advantage of it. change what needs changed and lets all be better. i love you guys

haha i only put that title cause i have had that song stuck in my head ALL WEEK! 

this year, strangely, it really does feel like Christmas. it seems a lot happier than last year. I'm loving it. i got your guys`s and granny`s package this week. thank you guys!!! i have a question about it tho that i will ask you this Friday!

oh and i got my hijo!!! his names Elder Dawson from Queen Creek Arizona. hes great! its been super fun being with him this week for all the Christmas stuff we`ve been doing. sadly we haven't been in our area to work hardly at all. but it was basically this way last Christmas too. i just told him this is the weirdest time to start the mission and that we are normally in our area teaching all day every day. but ya know, its fun to have fun.

the president was hear again on Saturday! we had a conference and then a bunch of activities! there was a talent show and with going to Medellin and everything that was going on i didn't really have anything prepared, but pretty much no one wanted to do anything so they asked me to sing something but i didn't have my guitar... luckily another elder had one. but it was like a cheesy walmart one. and i didn't wanna sing a slow boring song. so i rocked Santana on a children's guitar, and then they told me to sing more cause there were literally no acts... i loved it. honestly, made me miss performing A TON. but yeah.. that went down. haha.

well, i hope EVERYONES Christmas is amazing. and that everyone can remember our Savior Jesus Christ, and His love and His Meekness and Humility. Remember that He did it for you. Remember that you owe Him everything. Give back. Love. Share. and Smile. overall be happy. and don't miss me! haha. i am here doing EXACTLY what i want to be doing. i love you all, and i love our Heavenly Father and His Son.
